Vulnerable YP Fund

Grants of up to £2,400 are available to help children and young people who have experienced a crisis that has had a significant impact on their wellbeing and educational engagement.

The grants are made available through Buttle UK,  a charity that helps vulnerable children in the UK, and can be used to fund a variety of items and activities that can help children and young people recover from the crisis, such as:

  • Household items, such as beds, cookers, and washing machines
  • Educational resources, such as books, computers, and software
  • After-school activities, such as sports clubs, music lessons, and art classes
  • Therapy and counselling.

Applications will only be accepted from frontline professionals working for a registered charity, housing association or public sector organisation who:

  • are working directly with the children/young person
  • have made a full assessment of the child’s or young person’s needs
  • have carried out at least one home visit (optional for schools and colleges).
