This is a new fund to enhance access to finance for smaller charities and social enterprises in the UK.
The Thrive Together Fund aims to provide unrestricted funding to support the growth of small and medium-sized charitable organisations and social enterprises. Eligible applicants include incorporated voluntary, community, or social enterprise organisations based in England that are actively making a social or environmental impact.
The fund offers a funding package ranging from £25,000 to £100,000, combining grant funding with repayable finance, with the loan component comprising 75% and the grant component 25%. The total fund size is £6 million, and it intends to expand social investment opportunities for smaller organisations, particularly those in disadvantaged areas.
The Thrive Together Fund is supported by a £3.6 million contribution from Access – The Foundation for Social Investment, along with a £3 million investment from the Social Investment Business Foundation.
